Her dad came out and he carried me inside and set me down on the couch. And he said Well at least it's not broken. But he was wrong :) My mom came and picked us up about two hours later and it was still hurting. So she took me to the instacare and they did a x-ray and found out that it really was broken. They put this splint on it and wrapped it up with a bandage. They had to wait to do the real cast because of swelling.
On Friday I got my cast. Actually the doctor had to put on one cast and then took it off and put another one on to get it right. And he wouldn't let me get a waterproof one. But then my grandma gave me a marker and I went to school and my friends and teachers signed it.
Eliza and her brothers even brought me cookies. Some parts of having a broken arm are fun like letting all of your friends sign their name on it. But some parts of having a broken arm are not fun. Like when I am getting dressed and taking a shower.
Oh - my poor sweet Rachel. You know...your Dad brock my arm when I was your age. I hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteRachel, get better soon. We miss you!
