Guess what!

I took out Fred and India because we gave them one because sam is their dad. So first of all I went to www.random.org then I typed in the number of the people that entered which was 8. Then I pushed generate and it obviously picked a random number and it was 3. Number three was Ashton Loosli and he WON! (Otherwise India would have won)

Death of a mouse at the Loosli's house

Today we went to our neighbor's house to run in the sprinklers. Right as we were starting Ashton and his dad came home from the pet store with 2 live mice. They were going feed them to their gofer snake they caught in St. George. If you want you can watch the video I took of the snake sufficating and eating one of the mice!

COOL GIVEAWAY!!!

My uncle Sam owns a business called Malouf Fine Linens. He makes sheets and pillows and bed frames and mattress protectors. I have a Malouf pillow on MY bed and I LOVE them!!! I have a mattress protector too. (But I don't have his sheets because I have zebra sheets and he doesn't make any like that.)

Malouf Fine Linens got a new website so they are doing some special things like some giveaways. There is a giveaway on their blog where you can win a really nice set of sheets. All you have to do is leave a comment. And then you also like them on facebook. (If you have facebook.)

But I think that MY giveaway is way cooler!!! My uncle makes these mattress protectors that go on top of your mattress under your sheets. They are waterproof and keep your mattress from getting wet. So when they are showing people what their protectors do they use these fake glasses that look like you spilled wine (or grape juice). They also have a glass that is spilled coke! We have one and it is so funny because Kaleigh tries to pick up the ice cubes and then wipe it up.

So for MY giveaway, you can win a fake wine glass spilled like this one:

They are really funny to play jokes on people. Sam gave me one the other day and we went to my grandma's house. I told her that I spilled and she hurried and got a wet rag and was about to clean it up and then I told her it was fake. She was kind of mad at me for making her hurry but she laughed and thought it was funny. For April Fool's Day we used the fake coke one and I tricked my old babysitter because I pretended like I spilled coke on the counter.

All you have to do to enter MY giveaway is leave a comment here. If you want to tell me a good idea for a funny prank you are more than welcome to!

P.S. The contest ends Sunday, June 26!!!

Amphitheater Park

We played at the Amphitheater Park last week and the big kids split up into teams and played soccer.

After a while we went over to the court building across the street and we all got wet from the big giant ball fountain.

There were a LOT of kids! About 12.

Then we went over to the Amphitheater stage and had a talent show. And Sydney and Talmage for their talent they were singing songs from the movie Tangled. It was so funny.

Today we went to Logan but you will have to wait and hear about that on another post.
BECAUSE THERE WILL BE A GIVEAWAY!!!

Angie's birthday

Angie's mom made a banner for her birthday.

We were supposed to dress up like Angie for the party so Lucy, Kaleigh and I all wore I Love Mike shirts because Angie has a I Love Mike shirt. But Adam wore an I love Angie shirt.

I was going to bleach my hair but my neighbor and my aunt convinced me not to so I wore a wig.

It was a really fun party! For Angie's present all of the Ballard families pitched in and gave her Team Ballard shirts. We all have them now and it is so cool!

We all got balloons and eventually we let go of all of them (or the big kids gave them to the little kids who let go of them).

The fanciest lunch of my life so far

My mom was going to a luncheon at Little America in Salt Lake for SelectHealth because she won the grant. One person couldn't come so she asked if she could bring me. And they said she could. And it was so good.

We had an appetizer before but it was just like crackers and fruit and cheese. And I brought a pear home even though it was for decoration. But it was still edible but not ripe.

Brenda and Sue came too. Shalae couldn't go because she was working. We are standing in front of the banner they had for the Oasis Community Garden.

This was just the beginning of the the wonderous lunch.

This was what our table looked like but there was TONS more decorations but I didn't take pictures of all of them.

Then the lady running it talked to us. And let us finish our salad for a while.

And they even had these little stands with the picture on it. We were the only ones where our photographer lost all of our pictures. So they took another picture but it wasn't even our hand. So it was kind of sad since we skipped school to go to the photo shoot. But not really because at least me and Lucy were in the video which was the most important part.

Then they had mango orange juice.

This was just the BUTTER! Before I touched it I thought it was cream puffs or something.

Then this was the lunch. Chicken with noodles, zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, eggplant and a fork and a plate.

Each of the 25 groups chose one person in their group to stand up and get the check that you can really take to the bank and cash in to get money to help your group. And then they talked a little about what was the reason they started it. Sue was the one who did it for our group. I clapped for a LOT of people.

This was the WONDERFUL dessert!!! I had all of mine and half of Sue's because she wasn't eating hers. And I had part of my mom's too!!

These were all of the people who stood up to get their awards. Can you see Sue right in the middle.

These two were at our table too. The man standing up made the video. We are supposed to get a copy and I am so excited so I can show Lucy because she didn't get to go today.

And THIS is the HUGE chandaleir. It's bigger in person than it is in the picture.

P.S. Tonight we went to Oasis Community Garden and planted a little garden there. We planted some tomatoes because I don't think the people who go there know how to grow tomatoes like my dad. No offense to those of you who do go there and plant tomatoes but my dad is awesome at planting tomatoes because he learned from my great-grandpa Malouf how to make them grow tall.

P.P.S. We also went to the First Friday Art Stroll. We went to Jared Allen's art studio and it was awesome. He was having a party called the June Thirth Party. Someone could even live in that place because there was a bed in the basement but I would be scared because it's so cold and such a big space and there's no door to keep you away from the monsters. By the way I am afraid of monsters! Then we went to the Eccles Art Center with David Linton. There were lots of paintings and it went all the way up to three floors. Today was eating, shopping (because we went to get my dad's fathers day present in Salt Lake, planting, and looking at art Friday. And just so you know my mom had to help me type this because it was so long and it was getting too late!

Going to the orthodontist

Today I went to the orthodontist and they said I am going to need to get braces on my front 4 top teeth and get an expander because almost all of my teeth are crowded. Then after that I will need like invisible retainer at night. Because as you can see my teeth are very crooked. And if you saw the bottom you would be even more surprised.

If you have had any experience with braces please tell me because I am very nervous.

Hair-combing syncope

My grandma called and told my mom about a article in Deseret News and then my mom showed it to me and it was the same exact thing that happened to me on the first day of second grade.

You can read the article here.

And then you can read about what happened to me on my mom's blog here.

I'm sorry I always link it to my mom's blog but I can't type fast so it's hard.

P.S. I had my first softball game tonight. And I got to play catcher. But they didn't keep score so nobody won. Well the Raptors won which is my team. But both teams were Raptors. One team was red and the other was blue.
